God Is on the Move among His People . . .
Will His People Respond?
As I (Kim) write this, Dave and I are in Washington DC for the Summons 2012! We are here with 300 people from all over the nation. Some are part of America's National Prayer Committee, and others are local, state or regional prayer coordinators for the National Day of Prayer.
We have spent time praying in the offices of members of the House and Senate, visited David's Tent
, where 24-7 worship is happening through November 6 in front of the White House on the Ellipse, and we have been prayer walking around various other sites in our nation's capital. On Saturday morning, October 6, we participated with pastors and churches from all over DC in a service to dedicate the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial on the Washington Mall as a spiritual and biblical site. It is now one of many places around Washington DC to become a “prayer portal”. . . a place of prayer from 6-7 AM every first Saturday of the month.
We heard Bishop Harry Jackson give a powerful message to “Vote Vertical.” He stressed the importance of Christians voting for God’s agenda for life, marriage and support for Israel. Dave preached from 2 Chronicles 7:14, saying that the future of America as a nation is up to the people of God. If His people, called by His Name . . .
Prior to this, we were in Kansas City, MO for Call 2 All, where we heard much about the significance of prayer as the underlying strategy for missions; in Wichita, KS to speak at a Can Prayer Save America conference attended by 250 prayer leaders and pastors; and, then back to Kansas City to participate in a planning meeting for the Collegiate Day of Prayer,
planned for February 28, 2013. Dave also went to Philadelphia for America for Jesus 2012.
As you can see, it has been and continues to be a busy season for us as we raise our voices with many other ministries calling our nation to prayer!

Prayer and financial supporters of Harvest Prayer Ministries have the satisfaction of knowing that they are helping the prayer movement in a very special way through Harvest's involvement in leading prayer on behalf of the nation.
If you would like to see Harvest continue to provide this leadership and expand its ministry to churches across this nation, a financial gift would be a huge blessing. Mobilizing the church to pray for our nation is a huge undertaking financially. Would you prayerfully consider if the Lord would have you help with a financial gift? To donate, click here.
